Mission statement

• To empower the club through the planning of events that bring the CS+AI/Cal Poly community together.

Time commitment:

• 1-3 hours a week year round + additional hours for when we host events

Goals

• Bring back PolyPrompt or another hackathon of your creation
• Host CS+AI’s annual research fair
• Secure funding for CS+AI and its events from ASI, Cal Poly, and external companies.
• Handle logistics like e-plans and cal poly now event requests for events and general meetings.

Recurring tasks

• Summer: work with the Board to create a proposed budget/fundraising/sponsorship goal for the year.
• Fall: file an e-plan to reserve the weekly meeting room.
  • This can usually be done for the entire quarter.
• Rolling: file reimbursement spending requests on Cal Poly Now.
• Rolling: watch Notion for unconfirmed e-plans.
